Why is Direct "hard"

It's really easy, though it took me some time to figure it out.

Direct approaches are hard because it is tremendously more difficult to say "you're cute, I want to kiss you" while remaining emotionally nonreactive, than laying some fancy "who lies more"-routine on her.
